I feel there are parts of me that will only communicate through drawings or images;- words are too frightening. I knew something very powerful must have happened, I was having deep grief pour out of me the Saturday before Easter and on Easter itself and the days following. I also felt a sense of deep despair. I was having body sensations of dizziness and feeling spacey, and was having difficulty focusing on what I was doing. I felt shook up and almost frantic inside. At one point I was making my lunch in the kitchen and suddenly started sobbing deeply.

When I finally allowed myself to sit and write and express what I was experiencing, my body and mind immediately began to relax and calm down. It was such a relief! I felt more centered, balanced, and grounded. The images and feelings began to pour out onto the paper. My job was to let them flow without judging or censoring them. I found that to be challenging at times, especially when I saw a man wearing a Nazi officer’s jacket in the memory. I resisted drawing it – it seemed too “far out” to me.

I had remembered that Jean Riseman, a friend and fellow RA/MC survivor, had a satanic calendar on her blog:

I found Easter listed there as a satanic “holiday”.

The next day, still perplexed and disturbed by seeing a man wearing a Nazi jacket in my memory, I returned to Jean’s blog looking for some kind of answer. As I scrolled through the satanic calendar, I was startled to see A Nazi calendar posted below it! I had completely forgotten Jean had posted it as well. A shock ran through me when I read:

“Late March/April: Maundy Thursday, Good (black) Friday, Easter. The year Hitler was born, his birth fell directly on Easter, so Easter and associated days are associated with Hitler.”
